Modular Air Handling Units & Direct Expansion Systems

Air Handling Units (AHU) and DX (Direct Expansion) systems are the core components used to filter, condition, and circulate treated air throughout buildings. Medxon custom manufactures high-durability, double-skin Air Handling Units matched with high-compressor condensing rigs to deliver exact thermal controls.

Heavy-Grade Double-Skin AHU Cabinets

Our AHU housings are built using modular sandwich configurations. We sandwich a 25mm or 50mm thick layer of injected poly-urethane foam (PUF) insulation between inner and outer steel skins. This high thermal barrier avoids exterior condensation sweat, dampens noise from heavy interior blowers, and prevents filtered air from escaping.

High-Specification Fan and Drive Groups

We employ high-efficiency plug-fans and direct-drive or belt-drive centrifugal blower assemblies. Our direct-drive DIDW (Double Inlet Double Width) blowers are electronically commutated (EC), allowing fine-tuned, continuous airflow adjustments. This provides maximum volumetric air pressure while keeping acoustic levels under 55 decibels.

Precision DX Cooling Coils and Controls

Our Direct Expansion (DX) cooling loops are designed with high-grade copper tubes chemically bonded to corrugated aluminum fins. This maximize heat transference coefficients. We fit these assemblies with electronically operated thermostatic expansion valves (EEVs) that modulate fluid flows dynamically, providing rapid thermal recovery.
